Easy life in Picton

Two hundred and fifty metres from Picton Railway Station, which makes this the easiest of our houses to reach without a car. Four bedrooms, seven guests, and a deck built for the barbecue that lives on it.

The kitchen is new: gas stove and oven, dishwasher, air fryer, and a separate standalone fridge and freezer with a proper pantry. Out the back, a huge entertainment deck with a gas Weber, and the gas is provided. Inside there is a fireplace for winter, bring your own wood, and Foxtel on the main lounge TV with streaming ready TVs in the main bedroom and rumpus.

Sleeping is a queen and a double in the first two bedrooms, two singles in the third, and a king single in the rumpus room, which is how seven people fit comfortably. There is a full bathroom plus a second standalone toilet, and a washing machine and dryer.

Picton village, the Botanic Gardens and the Railway Viaduct are all close. Sydney Skydivers is 8 minutes, the NSW Rail Transport Museum 10, Campbelltown 25, Wollongong 35 and Sydney Airport 50. Worth knowing before you book: there are stairs at the entrance so it is not wheelchair accessible, pets are not permitted here, checkout is a firm 10am, and cars need to enter and leave the driveway facing forward.
